This extremely large and beautiful typical flapper fan (typically these have less sticks, as opposed to the much wider Victorian and Edwardian Ostrich feather fans) is made of white mother-of-pearl sticks and extremely large snow white Ostrich feathers.

This type of fan was also worn when a young lady was presented at the court of George V.
