Date: ca. 1900-1910

This very sparkly small fan is made of carved and pierced bone sticks and a double white net and cream silk leaf. The sticks have steel piqué and applied to them. The front leaf is covered with steel and gold coloured sequins and spangles in various shapes. 

Length: 7.5" (19 cm)  Width: 13.75" (35.5 cm)

The fan comes in its original Duvelleroy (Regent Street, London) labelled cardboard box.

Condition: Excellent, with the exception of a few light brown glue stains in one area on the back (see last photo). A handful of the tiny steel piqué bits are missing from the sticks.
