DUVELLEROY Peach Pink Ostrich Feather Fan

Origin: France

Date: ca. 1920-24 (just before Duvelleroy moved from Regent Street to their new premises in New Bond Street)

This very large and beautiful flapper fan is made of white mother-of-pearl sticks and very large peach or baby pink Ostrich feathers.

Length: 21" (53 cm) Width: 39" (98 cm)

The fan comes in its original, very large Duvelleroy (Regent Street, London) labelled paper covered wood and cardboard box. It still has its internal pink ties with which the fan is secured in transit. The box bears several handwritten notes and labels referring to the pink fan (over which a paper label was attached which reads Feather Fans) and also a yellow feather fan (I never had this yellow fan - the box only contained the pink fan, when it came to me).

Condition: Excellent.

Price: SOLD

(including packaging & shipping via Registered, Insured & Tracked Airmail)
