Date: ca. 1900-1915

This Edwardian fan is made of carved and pierced bone sticks and a single handmade Battenberg tape lace with three Belgian point de gauze style machine lace inserts. The sticks have silver accents. The leaf is worked with flowers and foliage. This was probably a wedding fan or fan given at First Communion.
It comes in its original blue cardboard box.

Length: 9″ (23 cm) Width: 17.25″ (43.5 cm)

Condition: Very good, usable condition, with one old repair on a upper stick (invisible on the front) and a couple of small perfume? spots on the top edge.
