This Cantonese brise fan is made of black and 3 types of gold lacquered bamboo sticks that are connected via a black silk ribbon (properly replaced). The front and back of the fan show landscape scenes including buildings, bridges, flowers, bamboo and various persons. The scenes are similar, but not identical.

Length: 8″ (20.5 cm) Width: 13.5″ (34 cm)

Condition: Very good. Slight rubbing to the lacquer consistent with use. Small restoration on both guardsticks (see photos).
