This Duvelleroy fan is made of tortoiseshell sticks and a single handmade Belgian (probably Brugge) bobbin lace leaf with a central point de gaze insert. The leaf is worked with flowers. The leaf is ecru (cream) coloured, so made of natural (unbleached) linen thread.
This fan comes in its original cardboard box labeled “J. Duvelleroy, 167 Regent Street, W. (London)”.

Condition: Excellent, usable condition. Some perfume? spots on the outside of the box.
