This simple, yet elegant Jane Austen Era brise fan is made of carved sticks.
This small type of brise fan was referred to as an “imperceptible” in the early 19th century, because it could be easily concealed within a reticule (purse).
Length: 6.75″ (17 cm) Width: 12.5″ (32 cm)
Condition: Excellent, usable condition.. Silk ribbon properly replaced.
