Date: ca. 1880/1885
This large fan is made of carved bone sticks and a double off-white satin (front) and cream coloured silk (back) leaf. The front is hand painted with with bindweed (Convolvulus) and pink roses.
Length: 11.75″ (30 cm) Width: 22.25″ (56.5 cm)
Condition: Very good condition with minor signs of use. There are age spots on the back leaf. The front leaf is excellent.
