This very pretty turn of the century Art Nouveau fan is made of iridescent mother of pearl sticks and a single black silk leaf. The front of the fan is handpainted with purple and greenish-yellow flowers, butterflies and wheat ears. The leaf also has sequins and spangles attached.
This fan comes in its original, purple silk lined retail box.
Length: 9.5″ (24.5 cm) Width: 18″ (45.5 cm)
Condition: Very good, with a professional antique repair (almost certainly by a jeweller) on the backing guardstick.
